About The Event
Wait until you see this extraordinary, secret waterway at the southern end of Botany Bay, on a day when the tide is especially high. We have special permission to take you into this aquatic reserve, adored by all who experience it. A diverse estuarine wetlands, where you’ll see rare native vegetation, fish breeding grounds and valuable habitats for aquatic invertebrates and threatened birds. It is treasured by nature lovers. The day includes a cruise through the mangroves and swimming on white, sandy beaches (bring your camera and swimmers). In the afternoon, visit Captain Cook’s landing point. Meeting point is Kurnell. A quite extraordinary experience.
