NEW: For our Asian Paddlers – early European history revealed at Bobbin Head and Cowan Creek
Time & Location
About The Event
Just up the road from Chatswood is a stunningly beautiful waterway with lots of interesting historic highlights – the area proposed in 1889 as the new capital of Australia (where replicas of Tower Bridge and Windsor Castle were to be built), nearby is the home of 70’s TV icon Skippy the bush kangaroo, and you’ll hear about the cedar forest where timber was harvested for the building of the original Sydney Town. Mandarin-speaking guide Chris Deng will take you on this relaxing 2-hour morning paddle. The waterway is very sheltered, the boats are super stable and paddling tuition will be provided. Life jackets provided. No problem if you can’t swim. Morning tea at a lovely little beach. Starts at 9am, back in time for lunch. Ideal for people who have never paddled before. Bring a friend and share a double.
Grade: Easy. Just $78 per person.
